C/2017 O1 ASASSN1

Comet C/2017 O1 ASAS-SN, a long period comet currently visiting the inner solar system. When it was discovered on July 19th, 2017 by the All Sky Automated Survey for Supernovae (ASAS-SN) system, Comet O1 ASAS-SN was at a faint magnitude +15.3 in the constellation Cetus.

This comet was deiscovered by the ASAS-SN skysurvey on 19 july 2017. This comet wasn't seen before but due an outburst was this object discoverd by the sky-survey.  After about a week there was again an outburst with a magnitude 1 brighter than before. Nice cvomet to observe and calculate the Af(rho) parameter.  Last observation is from  3 august 2017.  Comet is again slowing down.
