Since early May 2004 comet C/2001 Q4 (NEAT) will be observable from the Norhtern hemisphere.
A special observing campaign has been planned for this comet. Our goal will be to get high quality photometric data, and Afrho measurements, obtained with proper filters.

   Aperture photometry applied to the cometary comae studies is considered an interesting technique, providing useful scientific data even on that
objects, the majority indeed, with poor or less details.

   This technique allows the observers to achieve a good qualitative standard with a relatively simple method. The observers must be awared that
aperture photometry requires some amount of time for data reduction. Consequently the numbers and type of observing runs has be suitable to the data analysis capability.

La fotometria di apertura applicata allo studio delle chiome cometarie è una tecnica che può fornire dati scientificamente interessanti anche su quegli oggetti, che rappresentano la maggioranza, privi di dettagli evidenti.
Nello stesso tempo si è cercato un modo per sfruttare al meglio le potenzialità delle strumentazioni amatoriali giungendo ad un compromesso ragionevole mediante l’uso di una tecnica che garantisca un buono standard qualitativo senza per questo diventare eccessivamente complessa.
